Learning and Education improvement

Get support in your academics & Career

Education is vital to raising future leaders, and our teachers go above and beyond to love, train and educate our children. From preschool through university, our goal is to see each child graduate with a skill in their hands.

Helping our kids learn, grow and dream about their future

It is not just about our children “getting jobs”, we want to equip them to transform their communities. Our teachers play a pivotal role in making this happen. They do not only provide an education to several students, but also build the student’s character, integrity and their identity in Christ.

Going beyond the academic to equip our children wherever their talents lie

We provide vocational training at our skilling centre, as well as extracurricular activities like sports and creative arts at the sports and worship academy. This way every child can explore their passions and discover God’s will for their life.

No matter what path our children will choose, we know God has big plans for each of them. We’re grateful for sponsors and partners who make this possible.

Every girl matters and every girl has the right to stay in schooL

For many girls in Africa, education isn’t just important for a brighter future, it’s critical to their survival. Yet, girls often drop out of school simply because they can’t afford feminine hygiene products.

A lack of education leads to vulnerability. Vulnerability leads to unwanted pregnancy, human trafficking, sexual abuse, domestic violence, HIV, early marriage and a life of no choices.

Together, we can change this. Currently, we are working alongside some local schools in Eastern Uganda to reduce the dropout rate by providing school fees, sanitary products, teaching girls their value in Christ and igniting their passion for education we hope to have these girls mentored in our villages

When a girl stays in school, everybody wins

Education plays a critical role in breaking the cycle of poverty and violence. When girls are kept in school, they stand a better chance of growing into empowered women who transform their neighbourhoods and nations.

To support these efforts, we currently work with some schools to teach good health practices, mentorship, along with Godly sexual education to girls and boys—teaching young boys to respect and protect their female classmates, and reminding girls that they matter and their bodies are their own.

As we envision to set up the Shelter Arm School, we are keeping girls in school, educated and empowered.

Africa’s greatest resource is her womenempowered

The harsh reality is that many women in Africa have been left to bear the brunt of war, poverty and disease. Millions of our sisters have been abandoned and robbed of all dignity. Uneducated and unemployable, they are left to suffer alone.

But together, we’re changing this by providing adult literacy classes, discipleship, business skills training and job opportunities. As we embrace these women with God’s love, they find hope and purpose. Shelter Arm aims to Embrace, Empower and Engage

We improve the quality of Learning and Education attainment through child sponsorships focusing majorly on the Vulnerable and the less- privileged, Policy Advocacy, Trainings, and Community Dialogue Meetings.
