Shelter Arm Organization (SAO) envisions a society where the vulnerable persons especially women and girls are empowered to attain equality for self -Sustenance socially and economically. 

The World Poor need more Engagement, Empowerment and Support. There is need to mobilize the Communities to foster, adopt and Improve Learning and Education Attainment for their Children, Health and Family Livelihoods, Conserve Nature to promote Environmental Conservation. There is need to put awareness in the communities so that Government, and People should fully understand that Education, Health, Livelihoods, Agriculture, Environment and Rightful Policy Advocacy are key in Development.

Our Model is Centered around Families

Shelter Arm villages are a safe place where a child can truly experience the love of a family. We envision three villages that have classrooms, medical clinics, churches, playgrounds, and most of all homes for our children and mothers. In each house you’ll find a Shelter mother raising ten orphaned and vulnerable children. Together, they’re a family, and she’s raising them with love.

Shelter arm organisation envisions villages with set up a schools to facilitate education, medical facility for health care, sports academy to promote talent, worship academy/ discipleship academy to enable us raise young pastors and have our children and community embrace their value and identity in Christ, a church for fellowship and other religious activities, a guest house for our visitors and donors, a farm to provide food, girls and boys dormitory for the orphans, a main hall for events and gatherings, a skills centre to empower, maternity home for pregnant mother care, a baby’s home for abandoned children and mother homes for the children’s mothers.

We know that a child needs more than a house, a child needs a home and a family. In short, we envision our children having everything they need to grow up happy, healthy and full of purpose. That’s how we’re raising Africa’s future.

Providing Babies with A Loving Family

Every baby needs the love of a mother, and we shall be grateful to have a baby’s home with our nannies who will provide that for our precious little ones. Each nanny will care for her family of five. These will be her babies from the moment they arrive until they’re ready to move into a Shelter village /dormitory. We shall make sure our babies receive the medical care, nutrition and love they desperately need. We shall not only be meeting their immediate physical and emotional needs, but also helping to give them the best possible start in life.

Rescued and Given A Future Full Of Hope

Many babies in Uganda are orphaned or abandoned, often found at bus stops, churches, hospitals, and even found by the side of the road. We thank God that, together, we can change their stories. Some of the babies will come to us with serious medical conditions, or will have been abused or neglected and suffer from physical and emotional trauma. Others will just need lots of cuddles, clean diapers, warm milk and a nanny who loves them. Regardless of how they come to us, we shall provide the love and care they need to grow up healthy and whole.

Our goal will be to help our babies bond, develop and thrive—knowing we’re raising Africa’s future pilots, lawyers, builders and leaders.
