Our mission is: “planting fruit trees for healthier populations and better environment”.
The medium-term development goal is to enhance the ability of communities in Uganda to increase and sustain agricultural production for improved food security, nutrition and income generation while at the same time safeguarding the environment by adopting sustainable agricultural practices and appropriate technologies. This will be achieved through fostering increased fruit and vegetable growing (including fruit tree and tree planting) production for enhanced food self-sufficiency and increased income generation for schools and enhancing the ability to conserve and protect the environment.
This is to encourage and support transform the communities into economically viable agro-businesses including: market-vegetable gardening, and others. This ensures sustainable agricultural production and safeguard the environment thus communities will be job creators not seekers.

Our medical team plays a vital role in ensuring we provide holistic care to everyone in our families.
We not only treat health issues, but work hard to reduce disease prevalence. Our medical team focuses on disease prevention by educating everyone in our villages on proper nutrition and hygiene practices, as well as giving immunizations and mosquito nets and repellents to our mothers and children.
Additionally, we partner with health teams to provide medical outreaches to the community. Healthcare is expensive and difficult to access for families in rural areas and some urban areas, but through our outreaches we meet the community’s most pressing needs.
We improve Health through HIV/AIDS suppression in Children, Youth and Families, Care and Support to the HIV Victims, offering Reproductive Health education, and offering water and sanitation programs.
Our long-term goal at Shelter Arm Organisation is to work alongside esteemed professionals to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of individuals in Uganda and beyond.
